Thursday 1 July - International Tartan Day
- 12.00pm Sean Truibhas – Shaking off the trousers and Donning the Tartan in Waipu there will be a parade, pipers and highland dancing.
- Be there to watch well known locals who will be “Shaking off the Trousers”
Saturday 3 July
- Complimentary Haggis Tasting at the Waipu Butcher
- 11.00am Waipu Highland Pipe Band will lead a march of Clans, Descendents and Sundry Tartan Wearers. March begins at the Pizza Barn - Dress up and join in or come to cheer them on!
- 12.00pm Performances at The Centre Stage at entrance to Caledonian Park
- 1.30-2.30pm Whisky Tasting $10pp in the Old Jail behind the Waipu Museum, Organised by the Waipu Off Licence 09 4320225
- 5.00pm Clan Dinner at the Waipu RSA – all welcome
- 7.00pm doors open for the inaugural 'Art’nTartan' Wearable Art Awards, Organised by the Waipu Museum in the Coronation Hall. Tickets for 'Art’nTartan' $25 from www.waipumuseum.com or Event Finder, Cash Bar for refreshments.

- 9.30am Highland Dancing Competitions in Coronation Hall, Waipu, Come and enjoy the competition – gold coin entry
- 10.00am The Kirkin’ o the Tartan Waipu Presbyterian Church invites all tartan wearers (and others!) to join this special service.
